My journey is different than most, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I was born in Iran. Even though I was an innocent child, I was surrounded by danger. The government was torturing and executing non-Muslims. My parents realized they had to give up the only home we knew to keep us safe. To save our futures, we left Iran and became American refugees. To say that this was difficult is an understatement. My parents were illiterate and we were in a new country starting over. But with this hardship, I knew, even at a young age, that I was being handed an opportunity. My parents were fighters and showed me that with the right attitude, anything is possible. I knew education was important but so was life experience. After college, I chose to sleep in my car and live a minimalist lifestyle so that I could start my first business. I only had $100 in my pocket, but I turned it into a multi-million dollar moving company.....
